Our menu combines alpine cuisine and Mediterranean delicacies and so beef, salmon, shellfish, tomatoes and mozzarella meet for delicious starters. Soups, salads, vegetarian dishes as well as wonderful pasta, fillets from the grill, modern classics, fish dishes, pizza and heavenly desserts round off the offer. A special highlight is our “street food” – juicy burgers, wraps, ribs and chicken wings with sesame-chili or BBQ marinade are on the programme!

Mario Brkic – born in Croatia, grew up in Bad Gastein. After completing his training in Salzburg, the trained restaurateur worked for a number of seasons in various catering establishments and was, among other things, managing director and operations manager in the Café Restaurant mozARTs and in the Gasthaus zu Schloss Hellbrunn.

With “DAS ALBERT” he has fulfilled his long-standing dream of having his own restaurant. He combines a love of Mediterranean cuisine with a passion for Alpine dishes. Classics with new creations. Two cultures, for which food has always played a very important role, come together excellently at “DAS ALBERT”.

“DAS ALBERT” is on the 1st floor of the Hotel Carpe Solem in Rauris. The alpine ambience in the restaurant is largely shaped by local natural materials such as Rauris natural stone and beautiful larch wood. The bar and lounge area as well as the large terrace invite you to linger, the walk-in glass wine room is a highlight for the eyes and the palate. The open show kitchen pampers the senses. Those looking for something special can rent the restaurant exclusively – there are up to 235 seats inside, 160 seats are available on the terrace. Alpine cuisine meets Mediterranean delicacies – a taste symbiosis that is second to none!
